One Million Women

Dear friend,

IT'S OUR 2ND BIRTHDAY

... AND WE'RE CELEBRATING WITH SPECIAL FREE EVENTS

Our theme is one of optimism for challenging times: imagine we are starting to build a whole new human society and economy around the beautifully simple idea of living happier lives!

Does happiness, good quality of life and a healthy environment come from more money, material possessions and economic growth?

It's a very big question for people and communities everywhere, so let's talk about it! You're invited along with absolutely everyone you know to be part of the 'big conversation' for our world.

1MW IN CONVERSATION WITH PAUL GILDING

To guide us on this journey we will be joined by international sustainability guru and new author Paul Gilding Paul will help us to explore our roles in the emerging global social movement to transform human society. To pull us back from the brink of climate change apocalypse. To find that better place for people and planet!

In his new book, The Great Disruption, Paul confronts environmental overload leading to the end of economic growth, yet optimistically envisages an awesome great awakening in our world that will change everything.

Following Paul's April-May international book tour to the UK, Europe, North America and New Zealand, and multiple appearances at the Sydney Writers Festival, he'll now be joining us for a special series of free events for 1MW.

Don't miss out on this opportunity - seats are limited - all details below

Thanks a million and happy birthday 1MW,

Natalie Isaacs, Founder, 1 Million Women.

The 1 Million Women Campaign is a registered charity. Launched in May 2009, we have 41,000 members and 20,000 on our Facebook. Our long-term aim is lasting behaviour change. Our goal is to inspire 1 Million Women to take practical action on climate change by each cutting 1 tonne of pollution out of their daily lives in a year. It's easy. We will show you how.
